Various organic materials are used in electronics, automobiles, aerospace etc. To satisfy growing demand for higher performance, technology for the precise design of molecules and materials and structure control is desired.
In our laboratory, using techniques to design molecules and materials, and techniques for structure control utilizing magnetic and electric fields, light, oriented films, stress, interface etc., we are conducting research and development of various functional materials.

As we actively collaborate with industry, self-development through industrial training (domestic and international internships etc.) is possible. As the themes of our research themes are broad and span from synthesis to processing, analysis, evaluation etc., we aspire to recruit, not only students whose specialization is photonic and electronic materials, but also students who specialize in synthesis and physical properties.
Wanted! “Students brimming with a spirit of enquiry and energetic first movers!”
